Each month throughout the summer the Avon River Heritage Museum and Avon Spirit Shipyard in Avondale plays host to Artisans in Action, a series of events which sees the historic waterfront in Newport Landing transformed into a pop-up market for an afternoon, featuring live demonstrations by Nova Scotian artisan and makers.

Please join us the first Sunday in August as we welcome fibre artist Linda Tremblay, Cathou Laroque of Silvery Moon Alpacas, rug hooker Lynn Rodgers, potter Carol Goodwin and textile painter Karen Harvie.
