I am married to a great guy, David Macdonald. I am a mother of 3 and grandmother of 3. I am a school bus driver. I love animals and nature.
As a child I used to draw horses and animals. I am not sure what became of those drawings. I learned how to use oil paints and created a lot of paintings, which all sold. But I got sick in 1990 with double phemonia and when I recovered I found that I was allegic to scented products, which included the smell of the oil paints. So I started drawing using colored pencils.
I started doing drawings as gifts for friends and family. Then I did only commissioned work. I have sold a couple of my drawings to a lady in Scotland. One of my drawings went to a man from Houston, Texas.
I am self taught. I love to draw animals and have done several ones with people in them.
I have done a few drawings on plywood , of horses. I have kept two of those.
I love using colored pencils .
